"Second view - Second life"

Exhibition in the Neufert Box:
international photography and installation

The concept is refering to the question for aspects of reality in thze artistic encounter with with realness (mainly from the point of photography). It will be artistic answers about the†realness which is engulfing us. The title plays with the reference to the virtual worlds of the net. It implicates the question how real is the soccalled reality in which we are living.
To fathom these borders, to question and to affirm them, to change perspective and to open or to hide the perciever new views - that is the outlasting intention of art.

Likenesses have always already a form fo abstratcion and therefore they have a secret, a piece of fiction and interpretation of the world.The degree of rapprochemnt or avoidance from our real surrounding is fluent:from precise photographical documentation of the world to photoshop-constructed and animated cyberworld.

The artists, choosen for this exhibition are working not on the first hand with superfical virtual abstraction, no they choose to deal with secret messages. They always ask in their work for the necessity of the "second view". To emphacise on the immanent different realness from reality. Between reality and the likeness of reality arises the subjective truth of the world outlook - an ancient motivation of art . The more or less visible alienation and abstaction are in their subtility asking†for the "second view" to show their secrets: to create a virtual world in your own head. to achieve this is the goal of the exhibition.
